This year we are introducing a new event to showcase the spectacular tables on an evening prior to the Gala which will be called Ladies Night Out: A Novel Night at the Library. This event will be hosted by Ladies Who Love the Library and will be held Wednesday, October 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Treat the Ladies in your life to this fun evening of hors d'oeuvres, beverages and table viewing!

The Fort Worth Public Library Foundation will present its annual Gala on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Central Library. The theme is Evening of Mystery & Romance and will be hosted by Ladies Who Love the Library. This premier event will feature fine dining by the Renaissance Worthington Hotel, musical entertainment by Norman Richmond and Gigi, and in keeping with the tradition of the Foundation's past Galas, each table will be uniquely decorated to reflect the theme of a Mystery or Romance novel chosen by the table sponsors.

We invite you to consider sponsoring a table to the Evening of Mystery & Romance Gala. As a sponsor you may select a book from the enclosed list and decorate it yourself, or have a committee select a book and decorate the table for you. Many sponsors invite their guests to dress in costume to reflect the characters of the book, but that is not required.

Please fill out the sponsorship form and note your commitment to the Gala and/or the Ladies Night Out event. For your convenience, you may fax the form to 817-820-0487 or mail it to the Foundation indicating your commitment and you will be invoiced at a later date.
